Club rugby is all but over, with most finals being played this weekend (23rd).

Our only team still standing, Presidents, have just wrapped up their season with a hard game against Weymouth and have the 10-a-side at Tuakau on the 30th to look forward to. Another good year for the boys, not to many injuries, plenty of numbers, some good results on the field and some great performances at the after match functions. Well done to you all.

They are planning their own prizegiving on Aug 12, so come along for what should be a fun evening.

in the meantime, Drury has been invited to the Wahou club in Te Aroha on Sat the 6th of August. Drury had pre season games against Waihou for many years in the past and Waihou would like to renew the connection. There will be a forty seater bus leaving that morning and returning that evening with three oldies games of rugby and much merriment in between. If you would like to come along (not neccessarily as a player) let me know. The trip will cost you $20 for the bus.

Don't forget the next club evening set for Friday August 5. The night before the Te Aroha trip I know, but hope to see you both days.
