Drury v Rewa div 2.

To quote Mark Twain "it's not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog". Well done to the Drury boys for a fairly dominant display on Saturday against some very large Rewa individuals.  Four tries and a scoreline of 28 - nil. Special mention to the forwards for their display with the props Tula & Adam (caveman) showing the way. The win puts Drury clear at the top of the points table with only the top two ranked teams in the comp going to the final (no semis).

Next week Te Kauwhata visit Drury Domain to take us on. They have moved into second place on the table after beating Puni and will be wanting the win to maintain their position. Rewa take on Weymouth in a game that may get the seismic sensors moving.

Drury v Puke under 19

The under 19's showed little early fight as Puke ran away with the game from the kick-off. Four tries in ten minutes took the game away from Drury early on, they came back briefly in the secon half, but Puke had the last say with a 45-10 final score.

To many players are making Friday night a big one, and this shows on game day.

Next week is away to Pirongia (west of Te Awamutu), the only under 19 team in the whole of the Waikato. They are currently fourth on the table and will be hard at home.
